If you’re having trouble lucid dreaming I can recommend a great supplement!

5-HTP – this supports production of neurotransmitters in the brain. If you are low on dopamine or serotonin this is a great supplement. A cool side-effect is that it can cause or enhance lucid dreaming!

I originally took it as a supplement for SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) to get my serotonin levels up during the cold and dark winter months in northern US. Then I started lucid dreaming more and “Googled” it and sure enough; people use it just for that purpose.

You can generally find it at any vitamin store or natural foods store.

I take the NOW vitamins version, which I get in 200 mg caplets. I take one per day for a short period of time, 3-5 days. I don’t take it every single day all the time because I want my body to be able to produce normal amounts of serotonin and not become dependent on a supplement. 😉
